This is my first post to this blog and I intend to use it as an online journal for my quilting and dogs. I have called it Land of Mist because that is the affix of my dogs. Well, I only have one at the moment - Lily - and I am hoping to mate her again at the beginning of August. She didn't take last time. It is amazing that there are any dogs at all, really, seeing as the females are only fertile for about 8 days every six months.
I am in the middle of cutting out for two quilts. I sent for some material from the States, from Crazygirlquilts and from Pineneedles Quilt Shop. Part of the order has turned up from crazygirl, the background fabric, and all of the fabulous order from Pineneedles. It was a smashing suitcase with loads of fat quarters - about 40 in total, and some red material for centre squares, border material and tiny corners. I have almost cut the quilt out, as my machine is in for a service.
